Unjustified Death

Accusations reach to him.
Time's counting slim.
He didn't do those things
But the injection stings.
Poisons seep into his skin.
The room begins to spin.
 A life he never took
An unopened book
Who looked to see
The side which he
Had no chance to tell.
He has no church bell
Ringing for his good bye
Because another mans lie.
No person believed
The truth they received.
Truth of his innocence
Covered by suspense.
A wasted life of imprisonment
Of the life he was meant
To spend on the outside
Brought by those who lied.
Grim Reaper comes to claim
A life looked at with shame
A man who was innocent
The wasted days he spent.
An unjustified death of he
Laid to rest with his story
A past he did not deserve.
Accusation absurd
Took this innocent man
When the guilty coward ran.
